I guess its time to update my blog. So much has happened since I blogged last. Let's go month by month with a brief overview..
June 2012, was a pretty normal month, we just were enjoying being married. I settled into Arch Street and everyone settled into a new routine. We continued to watch progress on our house... hoping it would be finished soon.

July 2012, this was a crazy month! In early July we found out we were expecting!! That was quite a shock to us! I personally, didnt think we would be having any children, with my health and our ages.. but Marcus kept having dreams of a little girl... I should have known he would be foreshadowing the future. We also saw the stone go up on our fireplace... which we were not happy with at all. Marcus and our dear friends Chad and Lisa Landis helped take it down one weekend.. and we had to find someone new to do our stone work. That was probably one of our biggest snags in the construction project, but it all worked out in the end. By the end of July it was time to get packing and move in! We found renters for Arch Street and they were moving in August 1. We were all lined up to move in on Saturday July 28th! On Friday the 27th Marcus was home packing and went to take out Calvin and Hershey, when he got bit by Hershey! I came home from work early, and rushed him to the ER. He was later released and started taking antibiotics.. we continued to move stuff up to the house.. Later that night laying in bed Marcus noticed his arm was hurting a lot! He had red streaks running up his veins. Around 1130pm we went back to the ER..and Marcus was admitted to the hospital. He would be there until Monday afternoon. As I came home alone friday night it hit me, I would be moving into our new house without him. I was super stressed, enjoying morning sickness and extremely overwhelmed! Marcus, meanwhile, in the hospital, got news from the doctors on the bite, it was a serious blood infection, and if we had not gone to the hospital, it could have been fatal! Thank the Lord that he came thru it, and was healed! Saturday morning everyone arrived to help move, each and every one of the people who came, helped me so much! We got everything moved by 2pm. Later that night, my sister in law, her mother and sister helped me clean out the rest of the house. I honestly do not know what I would done without the help of all the people that came in and out of our house on Saturday and Sunday to help us through. I decided I did not want to spend the first night in our new house alone, so I slept at my fathers house until Marcus was released on Monday afternoon. I am guessing it was pretty surreal for him to walk into the new house, all furnished, and realize what happened.

August 2012, we had our final walk thru at Arch Street on the 1st. We continued to make progress on unpacking, and Marcus's hand began to heal. The dogs stayed with my father, since Calvin was battling blood vessel cancer, and was not given a good prognosis, and Marcus was still pretty hesitant of Hershey, we decided it would be better if the dogs were together, and with my father, at least for the time being. We just enjoyed life in our new house, thru the month of August, we had our first Ultrasound and saw our little baby. We got all the stone finished on the fireplace, and on the outside or our house, and our grass began to grow.

September 2012, we continued to unpack, we also hit a snag or two with our new house. Our sewer system is public but runs thru a grind pump, generated by electricity, it failed. We heard the loudest alarm ever one day. So we spend a month manually running our system, which was rather annoying but a new pump system was installed and the inconvenience was minimal. I continued to make trips to visit a myriad of doctors.. everything is going great with the baby, my thryoid and a cough I had back in August as pretty much cleared up! In late September we got a puppy, a yellow lab named Claude! He is adorable. We still choose to leave Calvin and Hershey with my father. Calvin's tumor was getting worse, and Hershey and dad were bonding well.

October 2012, On the 2nd we made the hardest decision ever, and put Calvin down. He was so happy despite the tumor growing rapidly, and bleeding all over. But he was not going to get better. I miss him so much, he was the best dog I ever had. Anyone who knew Calvin, would agree.. he was an amazing dog, and it was extremely hard to say Good Bye! We had gone to the Telford Vet and they are absolutely wonderful. Dr. Minninger is one of the greatest Vets ever, and treats my whole family so well. We are so thankful for them! As October rolled on, we had some good news. We had our second ultrasound and found out we are having a little baby Girl! We are very excited. She is due March 13, 2013. She looks great and everything with the pregnancy has been going smoothly. I guess as with most people, by the time Hurricane Sandy rolled around, we lost power as well. We had thought about getting a generator when we built our house, but figured it would be something to do later.. guess we should have! We spent 2 nights at my grandparents. They were very hospitable, and we are very thankful for them taking Claude, Marcus and myself. Marcus worked at my dad's and Hershey had his fill of Claude. Hershey doesn't love him, but does tolerate him.

We look forward to the holidays and what 2013 has in store! I will try to update more often, as we learn more about our little girl, and watch our puppy grow.
