Walls and Windows

We have some walls up, and framing out for windows. Marcus and I had to laugh when we saw how big some of the window openings are in the back. Our  builder said  "you'll have a nice view of the horses" I guess we will have nice light coming into our house, which is one thing Marcus was really excited about! Here are some of the pictures of the back walls. Hopefully this week we will have most of the outside walls framed and the basement floor concreted. Things are starting to take shape. We are in the process of picking roof colors. Who knew that wouldn't be extremely easy. We know our exterior colors, but matching them to the roof is interesting.

Delivery

Tuesday I was off from work, and went up during the rain. They happened to be delivering wood. So I got some pictures of that.

Subflooring

Just another progress report. The basement floor has not been concreted, and the house has not been backfilled. once the electric is run to the house, they can get the sump pump going to keep the basement dry, then get the concrete in. Then  they can backfill. A bunch of dirt will need to be taken away from the site as well. We were able to actually "walk in" the house. We stood in the living room. Very cool!
