update on a few things

So we settled on the land on July 21st. We met the sellers and they were very nice. They are renting their own home and they have moved. The seem pretty sad about leaving the area of Milford Township. They say its awesome, and we will love living there.  We have stopped at the land a few times since then, have taken some friends over to see it. If anyone ever wants to come, let us know. We are slowly letting the cat out of the bag, we have posted pictures of the land on Facebook for all to see.. Its so fun.
We met with the builder on the 20th of July, we decided on a house plan, and he is taking it to his architect to get drawn. Our builder would like to start soon... maybe September? I guess its as quick as the plans can get drawn and accepted by the Township. The builder has also said it should only take about 4 months to build, once ground is broke. That's exciting! We now will have to think about putting our house up for sale. If anyone knows anyone interested let us know...I can give more details. We have a realtor... but did not sign anything with him yet, so if we can save $$ on commission, why not?

On another note, I did hear back from the doctor and there is more cancer in my thyroid area. I am heading down to Jefferson on August 18th for an appointment, and they would probably like to do surgery before the end of the year. I don't know too much else on that, I will keep everyone updated as I hear. I am a little disapointed but I have done this surgery before and I know what to expect.... so it should turn out ok. No need to worry, its all in Gods Hands.

Down to 3

So we narrowed our search down to 3. We believe we have a winner. Everyday our decision changes but tonight Marcus and I talked about it, and seemed to come to a conclusion.  It has been a lot harder then we thought. There are 3 great plans, 3 great looks, and some differences with all. They all have some great features to them and any one would suit us fine. I will post pictures of the fronts of all 3, please tell me which one you like, and which one you think we picked. We will keep you all in suspense (I need some way to keep you all reading). We go to settlement on the land next week. I cannot believe that it's here already. So feel free to come on up and walk around, set up a tent... picnic... whatever you wish, after Friday! I guess we need to find someone to mow the yard... Anyone know of a mowing service? I asked our realtor if  the lot subdivision has been completed yet, he said it was all under control. I have been checking up on the Bucks County website daily, I have not seen it there. I am curious as to what our house number will be. I am guessing 1800 Freier Road, but I am just speculating. I did call to make sure we will be able to get Comcast Cable, because we are not Verizon fans... so that is available. Oh the little things that make us happy.
